Plants vs. Zombies™ 2 App Reviews

Im excited for the new update, but for some reason its not working. I love this game and want to try to the new challenge. Unfortunately it just shows the white daisy with its petals falling off and going back on, with a white background. I waited quite awhile.. Nothing. I tried restarting... Nothing. Any ideas??

In the last update the game came with many errors, playing the piñata party the game continues froze before and after win and I lose to many prices. Also playing the game ending a level they got frozen and loose all, I need start again the same level example Jurassic Marsh. Please fix the game.

Im completed both the Beach and Neon levels. But ever since the update, its making me start all over again! I love this game, so can you please fix this bug??

I have recently completed the entire story mode portion of the game from ancient engulf to modern day. I have been wondering if PopCap will create new worlds because the ending was kinda confusing. Also PopCap should create a sandbox mode that allows you to create any size yard you want and allows you to choose which zombies approach your yard. It would keep the game fresh and I wont get to bored of just doing piñata parties everyday.

Ive been playing this game for 6 years and I dont intend on stoping any time soon, I love this game, I feel passionate about it because I feel like Ive seen it transform through out the years into this amazing game of tactics and skills, I feel like I grew up with this game because when I was first introduced to it I was still in school, now Im married and have a one year old. I dont think I will ever stop playing this game, I just hope they keep coming up with more levels and challenges.

Since the last update I cannot go out of the game to change music, check a text/other notification, or adjust volume without causing the game to either hang up during a loading screen or he audio getting very glitchy.

Ive enjoyed this game for years, but the most recent update causes the game to crash when it reaches the 9.99% point when "Applying Patch". Please fix this.

Im still hoping you would make that final world. I was hoping for jack in the box and pogo stick zombie. Those two would have made the gameplay a lot more interesting and fun. Also have the zomboss world themed and I still have 2 world keys and I dont know what to do with them. I really hope there is a final world, and a suggestion would be combining world maps with world hazards, like bigwavebeach waters with neon mixtape tour music, into a world fusion, or a timepocolypse with every period of time being destroyed because Dave wanted that taco. Also have the zomboss world themed please, have all zombosses combined into one zomboss that summons all world zombies. And please bring back ice shroom, doom shroom, umbrella leaf, scaredy shroom, sea shroom, pumpkin, Gatling pea, gloom shroom, cattail, gold magnet, cob cannon and bring back pogo stick, jack in the box, latter, disco, screen door, miner, catapult, and pole athlete zombies too in that world from pvz1!!! Please please do this world!!!!!! Hope this helps.

System crashes every time it applies the new patch. I can not play anymore.

Now i an obsessed with this game i did not mind the two levels of bejeweled in Modern Day, but then while working on the Epic Adventure i learn when it refreshes ur plants you dont have ur power ups any more like in bejeweled u do. There are so many of these it is not even fun to play it is just like work to complete it! The things are amazing but REALLY! Really?

The most recent update makes it so I cannot access any of the quests, it either freezes or completely shuts the app out every time. I love the game, but it has become difficult to play.

After the package is almost done downloading it crashes and it starts all over.

It is a fun game but there are too many bugs. Daily Piñata Parties that wont appear unless you start a level and Quests that keep getting credited every time I start the app are two of the most frustrating.

The game itself is great. Some levels are challenging and I like that. However the reason Im giving it a 1 star is because Ive noticed that a lot of the plants youll need to purchase. Honestly, if I added up all the plants available for purchase it equals to about $50. Id much rather pay for the game and everything be included, however I understand why they do this. Heck, maybe if the prices dropped Id be more inclined to purchase. I really cant justify spending $8 on a single plant. You also earn gems which you use to be able to use to purchase plants, but i havent seen a plant that I could buy with gems in over 6months. What am I going to do with them? Theres nothing else I can use them on.

Its a good game but you should increase the size of the app by adding the memory of the other worlds like Cowboys and pirates. I hate having to download the memory for the other worlds. Just think about when we are on a long trip and we unlock a new level and it says you need to download, every body would hate that. And what about the people whos wifi doesnt work right on their iPhone or iPad ? They could download this app by iTunes on their computer but what about the other maps ? How would they download them. Im really sorry for the complaints but you please have to change that. Until then the rating will stay on 2 stars and also thanks for reading this.

The game is ok. I will play the endless games a lot but I wont play most of the game because it requires money. You have to basically pay to win most of the game and pay ungodly amounts of money for the plants. Who in their right mind would pay $7 for an imaginary digital plant?? Crazy.

My lovely game is over. Updated and game has stopped working (((

The game is fun, but I find that there are a crazy amount of plants that are in-app purchase. I wise that you could buy more of them with gems.

This review is only for the latest update from April 26. Latest update patch included a "Beghouled Blitz" epic quest which never loads. (Loading flower either spins forever or immediately freezes and app crashes). Still continues several days later. Rest of app works fine but so much for an "epic quest." As always, there is NO support on the developers website, merely an FAQ about playing the game under normal circumstances. Love this game, but what absolutely terrible customer support any time their releases arent perfect from the get-go.
