Great game! But.....

idk if this happens to anyone else but ever since I started playing those quests on the travel log I stared playing then for a while the the levels got too difficult so I stopped. then when I pass a level and click next level it brings me to the quest levels so I have to go to the main menu every time I pass a level. is there a way I can turn it off or something? its kind of making me mad. but its a great game
